Photograph depicts five men at the entrance to Morman Girl Mine on Black Mountain, at the present site of Carefree's Sentinel Rock Estates. The gold and silver mine was worked from 1840 to 1942 intermittently. The mine yielded two carloads of ore a month before it was closed in the 1940's.
